Creney Farm is situated on the edge of the Redmoor Nature Reserve, between the towns of Bodmin and Lostwithiel, and commands spectacular rural views across the moor towards the ancient stoneage settlement of Helman Tor. Once the hunting lodge for the nearby Lanhydrock Estate, Creney was purchased by Bill & Jenny in 1980
Perfect for any holiday or short break, Creney makes a great base to be able to see all that Cornwall has to offer. There are many lovely walks nearby for guests to enjoy, including part of the Saints Way and the National Trusts Lanhydrock House, with its wonderful grounds and gardens is within easy walking distance. The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and many other popular places to visit are all close by including the sandy beaches and spectacular cliff top walks of both the North and South coasts. There are many other actitivities guests can enjoy including Golf at the nearby courses of Lanhydrock and Lostwithiel (many more a short drive away), cycling on the Camel Trail, horseriding and fishing to name a few. The Crown Inn at the nearby village of Lanlivery offers lovely home produced meals and there are lots more great pubs and restaurants in Lostwithiel and the surrounding area as well.
Creney Farm is ideally situated in a wonderful, quiet secluded rural location, yet is only 10 minutes from both the A30 and A38. Close to Bodmin Parkway and Lostwithiel Railways and only 30 minutes from Newquay Airport, the ideal location when visiting Cornwall, but a car is advisable as we are 3 miles from the nearest town or village.
